No Man's Sky Release Date for PS4 and PC, Update, Spoilers: Coming June 2016

No Man's Sky, one of 2016's most anticipated games, will allegedly be delayed in its launch as reports had stated that it has experienced "technical issues."

According to Parent Herald, the No Man's Sky will finally be launched on June 2016 for both the PC and the PS4 platforms. But due to the delay in the announcement of its release date, some gaming fans are speculating that something went wrong during development, or there could be technical issues still present in the game.

The brains behind the space sandbox game, Indie game developer Hello Games first announced they were creating the game with a good backing from Sony in 2013.

"We are not going to treat it any differently and we are going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it," stated Sony Commercial Director Fergal Gara when news of No Man's Sky first surfaced, per PC Advisor.

"If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release; it is not a self-published small indie title on the platform."

As of now, little has been known about the state of the game, since Hello Games and Sony made the announcement -- up until curious fans took note that No Man's Sky was listed with a release date of Oct. 27, 2015, on Amazon U.K.'s site. The developer was then prompted to confirm the actual release date as June 2016 during Paris Games Week.

More speculations soon emerged that No Man's Sky has had several technical issues, resulting in gaming companies not being able to make a confirmation of its launch date, per Realty Today.

Similar technical issues were allegedly the reason the game's demo was not presented during the E3 event back in June. Some fans have speculated that the technical problem may have come from its handheld features.

Game developer Sean Murray was quick to dismiss the unconfirmed stories surrounding the release of No Man's Sky in an interview with Eurogamer. "We're just trying to represent it, we think that is exciting, the game is exciting," he told the gaming site. "Hype, for me, is that other thing, which is like an unattainable level of excitement. An excitement that will ultimately end in hurt."

Meanwhile, Hardcore Gamer reported that Amazon U.S.A. has just listed "No Man's Sky" pre-orders for the PS4 with a release date of June 30, 2016, and a price of $59.99. The value is currently a big issue among gamers. "This never seemed like a $60 game to me, and I certainly won't pay that much for it. It's for all intents and purposes an indie game made by a small team, I don't see why it should be priced like AAA retail," said one commenter in the NeoGAF forum.
