Colorado Abortion Clinic Shooter, Dear, Questionable Motive, California Shooters' Motives Clear

MSNBC's Chris Hayes seems to think that the Colorado abortion clinic shooter and California shooters aren't truly any different from one another. Representative Steve King (R-Iowa) argued that the focus that the shooters had in the two incidences are very different. King argues that Jesus, "never raised his hand to injure anyone specifically, but Muhammed did. There’s a big difference in this. They’re [radical Muslims] carrying on the traditions that are centuries old."

There's a big difference in this. They're [radical Muslims] carrying on the traditions that are centuries old."

In addition to those above facts, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains President Vicki Cowart issued a statement in which she admitted that, "We don't yet know the full circumstances and motives behind this criminal action, and we don't yet know if Planned Parenthood was in fact the target of this attack." Cowart has also admitted that the Colorado shooting was outside of the building.

As investigations about the Colorado shooting have continued, it has also been discovered that shooter Robert Lewis Dear was not connected to the pro-life movement, and he had a long criminal record and a history of mental health issues.  Planned Parenthood officials have said that neither the three killed nor the nine who were injured were were staff or patients of the clinic. Another point of interest is that the police officer who was killed in the shooting, Garrett Swasey, was pro-life and a co-pastor of his church.

As for the California shooting, it has been proven that Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik had pledged their allegiance to ISIS and had some ties to it. They had been radicalized and had additional explosives and 6000 rounds of ammo in their SUV and apartment that they never got the opportunity to use. Their attack was financed from overseas.

The weapons of the California shooters were purchased by another person, and it's not entirely clear who that person or perhaps group was. In addition, Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik were wearing tactical-style gear when they opened fire. Their vehicle was also a rented vehicle.

When they entered the building, they fired off somewhere between 65 and 70 rounds. There were also pipe-bomb style devices at the scene, so there was clearly some planning that had gone on here. There were two of them, as opposed to a single shooter such as in the Colorado shooting. One point that has been rather conveniently missed by most of the mainstream media is that Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik were Muslims firing on people who were at an office Christmas party. So they were clearly after Christians and other non-muslims, while Robert Lewis Dear's victims seem to be more random.
