Weeks after Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been released, many are already asking if they should get this hottest smartphone now or wait for the release of the Galaxy Note 6 instead. Here is a roundup of the rumors on Galaxy Note 6 features and release date.

Galaxy Note 5's first few weeks out in the market have been quite successful. Many of the owners of the new flagship phone from Samsung gave raving reviews of the product, finding no fault whatsoever. With super 4k HD display and high-end performance, there is little to complain about. If Galaxy Note 5 is doing so well, many anticipates Galaxy Note 6 to be even better.

According to iGalaxyS7, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may be released next year, alongside the Galaxy S7 Series. For the past few years, Samsung has consistently announced and launch its Note Series phone from August to September. It is expected that the tech giant will do the same on 2016. It is highly likely that the Galaxy Note 6 would be accounted at the IFA 2016 event.

Moreover, rumors have it that the Note 6 will have a flexible display. It can be remembered that this was one of the most anticipated features back when Note 4 was still being speculated, but the people still have not seen it transform into reality. Galaxy Note 6 just might have the display, if the rumors that Samsung is testing such kind of display are true.

iGalaxyS7 also reported that it is possible that next year's Note would have a new design and more color variants to choose from. It is also expected that the new Note would come in 6 inches, run Android 6.0, and equipped with a 3.1 GHz 16-Core processor. Additionally, to be one of the most powerful smartphones next year, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is expected to have Exynos+ Snapdragon Chipset, 8 GB Ram, and 27 MP Primary Camera. The front camera will be at 8MP, perfect for selfie junkies.

IGalaxyS7 also expected that Note 6 would also have 400 mAh battery so that users would not easily use up the power. It is also expected that Galaxy Note 6 would have three storage variants to choose from: 32, 64, and 128GB, apart from having Micro SD card support. Truly, the phone is expected to be the most powerful one yet.

Meanwhile, for those who think of waiting until August or September for an upgrade on their smartphone can already get the Note 5. According to Phone Arena, Note 5 owners can enjoy the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in the first quarter of 2016. Interestingly, Galaxy Note 4 users already have this update. G for Games also reported that the update is expected to arrive first for unlocked Galaxy S6 users in Poland.
