GTA 5 Online Update, GTA 6 Release Date, New Characters and New Maps for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC

Rockstar Games' GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) will likely be playable on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC when it hits the market, according to IGN. The creators are still mum about the developments of the games, but some fans have interesting information. Here's what we know so far about GTA 6 release date and in-game contents.

As for its release date, GTA gamers noticed that Rockstar Games took s five years and a half from the time the "GTA 4" was released in April 2008 before "GTA 5" came out. Based on that timeline, fans believe GTA 6 launching will happen in sometime in 2018.

The game developer is also known for pushing back the releases of their video games, so the 2018 release date of GTA 6 may just be a speculation. Moreover, It would be good if Rockstar Games would release the game earlier, based on their tradition.

"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do," Rockstar president Leslie Benzie said in a published statement from IGN.

The developments of the GTA 6 are still kept under wraps by the game developer, but they have stressed that they would to make GTA 6 with all previous cities from the series. If that is true, the sixth edition of the game will have a big world. Moreover, old and young followers would definitely love it, as they can play the previous maps of the game.

In an interview with Rockstar North head Leslie Benzies, he said he wants to create a game that players can travel back and forth to revisit places they explored in past games.

Some GTA followers speculate that Rockstar will include Fierro and Las Venturas ( both from San Andreas) in the latest installment of the game. Both of these places have remaining territories that have not been found in Grand Theft Auto V.

Meanwhile, reports about GTA 6 having a female lead character started heating up again on the internet with the recent interview of Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games. He said the gaming company is thinking about incorporating a female character in the game.

Game developer Rockstar Games has yet to come out to confirm or deny any rumors about GTA 6.

For Online part of the game, The Guardian published that the mode currently has over 8 million active weekly users. Gamer also enjoys the endless series of content updates, as well the development of the busy Rockstar Social Club service.
