While her family is facing many controversies, Jill Duggar and her husband Derik Dillard is currently involved in some classes in Central and South America for their missionary work. She may be far from home and her family, but this does not mean she is safe from scandals. In fact, rumors have it that she has her own fair share of struggles while on this supposedly-fulfilling mission trip with her husband and infant son, Israel.

Christian Post reported that Jill Duggar is finding it difficult to juggle her mission studies and obligations as a mom to an infant. Jill is said to be no longer attending her language classes because she had to take care of Israel most of the time. This is shown in the episode of the three-part TLC spinoff, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." Speaking to the cameras, Jill shared that Israel can be quite "distracting" while she is trying to focus. She added that she missed going to school with her husband.

According to Inquisitr, the mission work that Jill and Derick are engaged in can be quite dangerous. Jill herself explained why this is. "We have had the opportunity to minister to several gang members," Jill explained. "Because of the violence and fear in some areas we were in, people face the frequent reality of early death," she added.

She implored fans and others to pray for them, not only to stay safe but to be able to integrate into the community by gaining the language skills they need. "Please continue to pray for our wisdom, safety and ability to learn the language, as well as for the people here in Central America," she added.

A recent photo of Derick, posted by Jill on her Instagram has their fans wondering if some serious illness has inflicted him. Fans claimed Derick looked too thin to be healthy. Jill has not clarified anything.

It is not only Derick's picture that is causing an uproar though. Hollywood Gossip reports that fans are questioning what happened their 10-month old child too after Jill posted a picture of baby Israel with a small bruise above his eye. Followers were quick to point out that this must be the result of negligent parenting. This comes as no surprise since it was also just last month when Jill posted a picture with her baby bruised as well. While the bruises may be nothing since babies can be quite a handful and jumping all around, followers cannot help but be concerned.
