"The Walking Dead" TV series is set to return in just a couple of weeks. As its premiere date comes closer, a new promotional video has been released online to excite fans about what is to come. The preview reveals the possible plot line of midseason episodes. Now, here's what know so far about Walking Dead Season 6's spoilers, TV schedule and new Characters.

In the latest promotional video of AMC's hit TV series, fans saw Daryl, Abraham and Sasha had been stopped by Negan's Saviors in the middle of the road. After seeing that video, fans could immediately tell that Daryl's company is in deep trouble.

For those familiar with comics edition of Walking Dead, the Savior's line of "just popping one of you right off the bat" is a clear reference to Negan's way of doing business. Armed with barb-wired-wrapped-bat that he lovingly nicknamed Lucille, Negan kills enemies by beating them to death. The vicious character will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Aside from Negan, there is another character who will make a debut appearance in the second half of The Walking Dead season 6.

According to Robert Kirkman, executive producer of The Walking Dead series, viewers should expect new characters in the next episode of the series. The producer revealed that Paul Monroe, also known as Jesus, is also set to enter the story.

"Jesus is just such a fun character to write in the comics. At this point in the life of the series, my thought is the apocalypse has been going on for so long, the people you encounter in your day-to-day life have to be extremely skilled," Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly.

If the TV show ends up following the storyline in the comic books, Jesus is set to play a crucial role in helping the Alexandria and Rick's crew to defeat Negan's company.

Based on comics, the next episodes of the TV series might lead to a battle against the Saviors, where Jesus emerges to help Rick. The battle might eventually take Negan down, ending a bloody feud that could leave Glenn dead, according to Vanity Fair.

It is interesting to see how the new character would save Rick and his squad against the enemies. English actor Tom Payne is set to play as Paul Monroe (Jesus).

With that, fans should expect exciting and thrilling new episodes in the second half of Walking Dead Season 6. The TV series is set return on Feb. 14.
