One of the features of MLB The Show 16 is the "Road to the Show", and there has been a lot of improvements done to it in 2016. Once you are drafted, it is easy to get through a lot of games in a short amount of time. You can also play a full series of games without every loading back to the main menu.
Then there are "perks", both passive and active, to improve At Bat performance. There is also "slow time" moments where you can make some pretty amazing hits and catches as time slows down.
