'19 Kids and Counting' Jim Bob and Michelle Want Men to Be 'Uncommen,' Hint at Their Failure as Parents to Josh Duggar

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" are recognizing their shortcomings as parents, by launching a new initiative called "Uncommen." Probably thinking they have not provided enough attention and care to Josh Duggar, they now want all men to be the serious family man they need to be.

"Uncommen" seeks to provide all men to be better fathers, husbands, and leaders by equipping them with right sources to do so. The initiative recognizes that some men can get too distracted with the many things they need to focus on that they forget how to be good dads with both time and financial resources to assist their children. As life gets increasingly hectic, Jim Bob and Michelle claimed that parenting can become a tad too difficult.

"But in today's world, I'll tell you what is so difficult-staying connected with your kids and making sure you spend time with them. Because life is so busy, and it's so easy to lose connection with your kids. So we encourage you to be the dad that you should be. We challenge you to be 'uncommen,'" wrote Jim Bob in the Duggar Family Blog.

They saw this in the eldest of their 19 children, Josh. last year, Josh faced several controversies exposing how much he deviated from the family's Christian values. It was revealed that he cheated his wife Anna through the Ashley Madison adultery website and that he sexually harassed minority girls when he was just 14-year-old, including his own sisters. Jim Bob and Michelle took some of the blame for these actions.

"As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and actions," the couple wrote in a statement. "His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change."

It was also revealed that Josh engaged in the sexual services of a porn star, Danica Dillon last year and that during one of their paid sex sessions, he was abusive, hurtful, and violent. The porn star filed a lawsuit against him but recently dropped the case. Many speculated that she was paid off so that when the alleged new Duggar family show is finally announced by TLC, the network need not deal with all these negative charges.
