We just finished with the Emmy awards, and it's time to move on to another entertainment awards ceremony. In a little under two weeks, we will get to see Chris Rock host the 2016 Oscars. Come find out more info for this big, end of February event!

There is a full list of nominees on the Oscar website, but for the big three (Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress), here are those nominees, and winner predictions:

Best Picture:

· The Big Short
· Bridge of Spies
· Brooklyn
· Mad Max Fury Road
· The Martian
· The Revenant
· Room
· Spotlight

The Revenant appears to be in the lead for the Oscar award among the experts, with Spotlight close behind. The Revenant received 12 nominations.

Best Actor in a Leading Role:

· Bryan Cranston (Trumbo)
· Matt Damon (The Martian)
· Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant)
· Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs)
· Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl)

In this category, Leonardo DiCaprio seems to be the favored to win, and this would be his first Oscar award ever. If you want to play a fun, addicting game that lampoons his race to get the golden trophy, there is this: Leo's Red Carpet Rampage. The description of the game reads as follows:

"Get Leonardo DiCaprio an Oscar, or die trying in Leo's Red Carpet Rampage, an arcade style platform game where you race down the red carpet on a quest for the ultimate award. Collect as many Emmy's and Golden Globes as you can along the way. But beware of pushy photographers and watch out for Lady Gaga... and icebergs."

Best Actress in a Leading Role:

· Cate Blanchett (Carol)
· Brie Larson (Room)
· Jennifer Lawrence (Joy)
· Charlotte Rampling (45 Years)
· Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn)

Brie Larson seems to be the one people are talking about to receive the award for this category.

The 88th Academy Awards will air live on Sunday February 28th, 2016 on ABC at 7 PM Eastern time/4PM Pacific, broadcasted from the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
