Pokemon the Series: XYZ aired in Japan last year and the earlier "Pokemon XY" series began on Cartoon Network January 2014. The TV network also presented special Pokemon TV show called "Pokemon: Mega Evolution Special I" in May 2014. Altogether, the Pokémon franchise has been releasing new anime series for 19 seasons, according to Yibada.

Meanwhile, today's online reports said the upcoming Pokémon Z game will be released together with new pocket monsters like Zygarde, Volcanion and a new legendary character Magearna. In addition, the game's launching will be announced together with Pokémon Go.

In the February issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro, it revealed the brand-new Pokémon Magaerna. According to Polygon, the Pokémon is made from metal and has a rounded body. It is also classified as "man-made," created by scientists 500 years. The creature stands 3 ft and weighs 177.5 lbs. Together with Volcanion, Magearna will be featured in the 19th film of the Pokémon franchise. The film is titled "The Pokémon the Movie XY & Z: Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna,"

The Pokémon franchise is one of the best-selling games of all time, so it is not surprising if Nintendo is speeding up the developments of Pokémon Go and Pokémon Z. On Feb. 27, 1996, the first Pokémon game was released. The franchise is now celebrating its 20th year anniversary.
