On March 8, Bungie will release Hot Fix 2.1.1.3, which will address lag problem that's been plaguing gamers. Now, here's the latest information about the next Destiny update and where to find the vendor Xur on March 4-6.

Let's start with the upcoming update called Hot Fix 2.1.1.3. Over the past week, Bungie has been implementing its new search criteria in Control and Iron Banner to promote competitive gaming. Instead of player's skills, the matching is based on the player's latency and internet speed.  In other words, skills are no longer prioritized over latency.

According to IGN, all Destiny players have to install Hot Fix 2.1.1.3 on March 3.  The latest update "will deliver the newest matchmaking settings to every playlist in the Crucible." Moreover, future updates will be easier to deploy because of the latest Hot Fix.

Last year, the developer tried to use matchmaking system that emphasis skill over connection. However, highly-skilled gamers complained about the increased lag during the game. In order to address the problem, Bungie made matchmaking changes.

It is expected that Bungie will continue to improve the matchmaking system as more feedback comes in.

Meanwhile, for those who want to find Xur's location and exotic Items for March 4-6, we've got you covered. The exotic vendor has been on the roll these past few days, supplying exotic armor and weapons for players.

This week, Game Rant reported Xur can be found in Tower North, just a few steps from Speaker's quarters. In fact, Tower North has been a frequent spot for the vendor as of late. To find him, players have to go to the left after spawning in, follow the path down the long hallways and stairs, and the Agent of the Nine should be in the far back of the open area along the balcony.

This week, Xur offers the 44 Stand Asides boots for Titans, the Nothing Manacles gauntlets for Warlocks and the Graviton Forfeit helmet for Hunters. Out of these three, most players prefer the Hunter helmet because of its Shadestep freebies to Nightstalker.

For weapon, the Agent of the Nine offers the Hawkmoon, which is one of the best hand cannons in the game. Previously, the Hawkmoon was only available to PlayStation, but the release of The Taken King freed the weapon to different gaming platform and become Xur's item.
