It is reported that The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine DLC is still in development stages, but fans can have a glimpse on what to expect for the forthcoming expansion pack. Game developers released a brief preview of Blood and Wine DLC during Game Developers Conference 2016. Here's the latest round-up of update about Witcher 3's' Blood and Wine DLC release date, features and rumors on the web.

During the discussion of Witcher 3's dialogue system, CD Projket animator Piotr Tomsiński showed a preview of Blood and Wine DLC. By observing the footage, the brightness of the new location does not resemble any area in the game so far. In addition, the game's oil-painting effect is still evident, and the new map has improved color, hues, and lighting.

Several tech websites say the scene came from the new realm called "Toussaint," which could be included in the Blood and Wine DLC. The new realm also adds atmospheric feel to the game.

There's not much to say about the 9-second preview, but the upcoming DLC will certainly capitalize on the Witcher's unique color features. The new hues in the game are expected to be outstanding, and it will take game's oil-painting effect to greater levels. Many gamers also complimented  the teaser's lighting effects. So expect there will be a cheerier mood in the next expansion pack.

The teaser reportedly shows expansion pack's side-quest where a character offers Geralt a trophy for completing a mission.

Game Rant published Blood and Win DLC will feature the return of characters that gamers missed a lot. These characters will definitely expand the Witcher 3 characters, and they will add more excitement in the game. In addition, expect the re-introduction of Shani into Hearts of Stone, which could be one of the best features of the expansion pack.
