Last week's episode of "Arrow" broke the heart of fans as it killed off one of the series' major characters. But now, as suggested by rumors, it seems "The Flash" is about to follow the same path.

In the "Eleven-Fifty-Nine" episode of "Arrow," Oliver Queen's team confronts Darhk. However, it ends with the villain stabbing Laurel Lance, played by Katie Cassidy.

Due to the death of the character, also known as Black Canary, a lot of speculations have been presented about her real fate. Of course, since "Arrow" and "The Flash" exist within the same universe, various sources believe that the latter could also be dealing with a death of a character in a future episode.

As speculated by Movie Pilot, this character (possible spoiler alert!) could be Joe West, played by Jesse L. Martin. This speculation started after a fan posted a photo from the set of the next "Flash" episode.

Of course, this could simply mean that some characters from the show will once again appear in "Arrow" to attend Lance's funeral. However, another fan also posted a photo depicting Grant Gustin as Barry Allen sitting on a porch with Iris West, played by Candice Patton.

According to the site, the porch is in the photo is from Joe's house. This could mean that Allen and Iris could be sitting on his porch to talk about him after his funeral. But then again, this can simply be explained by the fact that Iris is Joe's daughter. Which means Allen could just be accompanying her home after the funeral of Lance.

Another factor that points to the possible death of Joe is the recent photo Gustin shared in his Instagram account.

As captioned by the actor, the photo was taken during the first day of filming for the finale episode of season 2. Sitting beside him in the picture is Martin.

Of course, Martin's possible death in the show is just based on pure speculations and snapshots posted by fans. There's still a big chance that the show will go in a different direction and proceed with the future seasons of the show with Martin still on the cast list.
