NBA Trade Rumors: Derrick Rose Might Leave Chicago Bulls for Sacramento Kings

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose could be wearing a different uniform next season. This is because new rumors indicate that he could get traded to the Sacramento Kings.

A word about the trade is not yet final but given the status of these two teams, it seems a move such as this will be beneficial for both of them. As noted by Inquisitr, the Kings could move a few of its key players soon after free agency begins.

Specifically, the team could end up trading away Rajon Rondo and Ben McLemore since their performances on the court have waned over the last seasons. This means the Sacramento franchise might make a move in either drafting or getting a new point guard.

Of course, the latter decision would probably be best for the Kings since they would still need a veteran on the court. Although Rose' career with the Bulls became disappointing because of his various injuries, this doesn't mean that he doesn't have the skillset to carry a team.

Also, being with the Kings will also be a good move for Rose as it will put him alongside Darren Collison. For the Bulls, on the other hand, they could end up with McLemore and possibly another player from Sacramento. And, with the current lineup of the team, and the possible new additions from the upcoming draft event, the Bulls could get the chance to build a team worthy of dominating in the playoffs next season.

But then again, these trade details just based on rumors and speculations for now. At this point, it's a bit hard to guess what the Bulls and Kings could end up doing as the free agency begins. Also, another factor that could change the outcome of the trade is Jimmy Butler.

As noted by Fan Sided, aside from Rose, another player that the Bulls might give up is Butler. After all, his tension with Rose is also partly responsible for the team's lack of chemistry on the floor. And, with this in mind, the Chicago team could end up letting go of Butler while retaining Rose.
