2K Games and developer Hangar 13 are now preparing for Mafia 3's presentation at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this weekend. To give fans a glimpse on what to expect, a teaser trailer reveals Lincoln Clay's upcoming missions and adventures. Here's what is currently known about Mafia 3 release date, gameplay and rumors on the web.

The 30-second trailer is posted on YouTube via the official Mafia 3 channel. It only shows random action scenes of the game, but it gives idea for the game's full trailer.  In addition, the teaser hints that Mafia 3 seems to focus on retribution and revenge storyline.

There also characters who will coming back in the game. Long-term fans of the series may easily notice the brief appearance of Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro in the teaser, suggesting that they are set to return in the franchise.

Halfway through the preview, Lincoln rides a boat together with some of his pals. Game Radar says this scene hints that players might be able to control a boat in Mafia 3.

The game's full E3 trailer will be released on Sunday, June 12 at 17:30 PST. Ever since 2K Games announced the Mafia 3 at Gamescom last year, many players are wondering what would be its gameplay and storyline. Good thing, the game developers confirmed it will be featured at E3 2016.

Aside from the 30-second preview, 2K Games revealed some of the game's "criminal ecology," which highlights Mafia 3's criminal operations.  As explained in the video, players can select any number of missions within a criminal racket.  Each of those missions is connected to the larger storyline of the game. Take note that each criminal racket has its own boss which players must defeat to complete missions.

In addition, each criminal racket is protected with "enforcers." Players can kill these guys to execute hideout raid easier. Players can also get information from lower-level enemies to finish missions faster.

Mafia 3 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 7.

GameSpot reported the game will also have Collector's Edition which costs $150. This package will be available with soundtrack on vinyl, dog tags for main character Lincoln Clay, Playboy lithographs, a 56-page art book and more.

With that said, let's wait for Mafia 3's full trailer at E3 2016. Stay tuned with Gospel Herald for more update.
