This week is going to be a big game for video games with E3 2016 going down, and you can read about all the announcements here. There probably won't be anything related to Microsoft's Games with Gold free games, unless there is going to be some planned leak for the fans. At least the June 2016 games are still available, and there is going to be a bonus free game of none other than WWE 2K16 for June.
At this point in time, after gamers have played the free games available at the beginning of the month, they begin to ask whether or not any leaks have occurred with the free games for the next month. There has been very little word about the titles of July 2016, but there will be a bonus surprise for June 2016.
This bonus will come in the form of a free game, according to Ubergizmo. This game will be WWE 2K16 for the Xbox One, and it will be available for free from June 16 to June 19.
So what is the reason for this? There are two, actually. Part of it is that E3 2016 is going on, and most of the committed gamers are going to be at the big video game convention that takes place during the Los Angeles Convention Center. This event will actually take place during June 14-16, and there are already announcements being made now.
The other part is to build up hype for WWE 2K17. Players who will be doing the free game will be able to play the full game, and it is enough of a taste to get them addicted, but the new version of the game isn't available until
As for the games available for June 2016, as well as July, there are four for the Xbox One (thanks to backwards compatibility) and two for the Xbox 360, according to Major Nelson. The first for the Xbox One is Goat Simulator, and the strangely popular game is available until June 30. The next game is The Crew, a racing game that won't be available until June 16, but will stay available until July 15.
For the Xbox 360, the first game that is available, Super Meat Boy, will not be available after June 15. As for the next game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, that will be available on June16 through June 30.
As for the free games for July 2016, there probably won't be word until the last week of June. Perhaps the second-to-the-last week, as the word for the free games in June showed up on May 24.
