‘No Man’s Sky’ Release Date with New Applications, New Features, Future Upgrades, and Improvements

There isn't much more that can be said about No Man's Sky.  It is poised to be one of those game-changer games, as it is a game where the player is exploring 18 quintillion planets with different lifeforms and ecosystems.  If this is a game that you want to play (and who wouldn't) this is what you can do before the game's official release date with a new app as well as new features and what is to come for the mega space game.

According to Engadget, there is a companion app for No Man's Sky that is designed to generate custom names for the planets you visit and creatures you find.  It also allows the player to upload screenshots and share with other users for this app, which is called NMS Ally

For those who had a chance on playing No Man's Sky early, you will have to start from ground zero.  Ahead of the game's retail release this Tuesday, the pre-release servers will be wiped Sunday, which means that they are probably wiped at the time of this writing.

Of course, since there was no review copies sent out early, most people are not going to have that problem.  However, iDigitalTimes reported that a lot of the press has been streaming the game online, and they report on a lot of changes.

Like most games, No Man's Sky will have a Day One update, and this 1.03 update.  A separate report from Engadget states that there will be three "paths" to follow in the game, which will create what set of paths that you will go later as you explore the universe.  In addition to these separate paths you can take, there is going to be a deeper trading system, new combat mechanics, and it will make it easier to discover other players.

This is just one of several updates, and other will include the ability to build bases, own "giant space freighters", and there is going to be quite a few great features in the game to make you the ultimate space explorer.  However, there is reportedly a change to the "universe generation algorithm".    It means that environments have changed biomes, planets have moved, and galaxies have altered shape.

Just to let you know, there are planets that are dead moons, low atmosphere, and extreme hazardous planets with blizzards and dust storms.  That could make survival difficult, and that is going to be a part of the game.

Now, with all of the planets in the game, there are some improvements there like space, night time, and day skies are more four times more varied due to a new atmospheric system.   There is also some interesting terrain generation with some geometric anomalies.

As mentioned before, trading is different, and ships are going to have a greater inventory which will help out the player a lot.  The combat system on the planet and off of the planet (with the ships) has been improved as well.

In short, there is going to be a lot of things to be added to the game as it hits its release date and beyond.  No Man's Sky will be out for the PS4 and Microsoft Windows this Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
