If you are Rockstar Games, then you are fortunate to have some hit games under your belt.  One of them is one of the biggest games ever with Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V, and the other is a another open-world exploration game of Red Dead Redemption.  This is what is known about the future of Rockstar Games with release dates, spoilers, and rumors about the long-awaited Red Dead Redemption 2 as well as GTA 6

Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date

When it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2, the big issue is that we are not even aware if the game is being made.  Rockstar is keeping this a secret, but the game seems like it is popular enough to merit one.

According to Mobile and Apps, it will have a subtitle known as Legends of the West.  This comes from a source who worked at Rockstar, and says that the company has been working on the sequel to Red Dead Redemption for quite a while.

Red Dead Redemption has a lot of rumors surrounding it.  One of them says that the game will actually take place before the first one, making it a prequel.  There are some leaked photos of a map of the game, and it is quite bigger than the one from the first game.  Considering that the first game took place as the Old West era was dying, it would make sense that the map would be bigger in the time before the first game.

If that is the case, then perhaps John Marston will make a comeback, as (spoiler alert) he died in the first game.  It is possible the game will have multiple protagonists, sort of what made GTA V so popular.

As for when the game will be released, there doesn't have any word on that.  If I had to venture a guess, I would say to look for an announcement about Red Dead Redemption 2 during E3 2017, then expect it in the fall or holiday season release.

GTA 6 Release Date

So, while we're on the subject of GTA 6, and it seems that we are about due for one.  GTA 5 was released three years ago for the Xbox 360 and PS3 three years ago, and then for the PS4 and Xbox One two years ago.  Considering that the game is one of the most popular games, if not the most popular, a sequel for it is inevitable.

Like Red Dead Redemption 2, the map is said to be larger, possibly the largest ever.  Many state that the location could be changed to something more international, like possibly London or even Brazil.  There also might be a change in protagonist, introducing what would be the first female protagonist in the series.

The word is that there could be release date of possibly 2020, at the latest.  This is one game that Rockstar could wait until the PS5 or Xbox Two comes out to release.
