To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Best Buy is putting up a huge sale from Aug 19 to Aug. 20. The tech retailer is discounting hundreds of items, including laptops, TVs, smartphones and many more. To help you decide what to buy, here's the best deals that you can get at Best Buy's 50th anniversary sale.

Best Buy's anniversary sale will last for just 50 hours and it started last Thursday night at 11:00 PM EDT. The deals included in this sale will be available until supplies last, so hurry up now. The entire event will end at 12:59 AM EDT early Sunday morning.

Apple fans will definitely have a great time in this event. They can get an iPhone 6S for just $1 or iPhone 6S Plus for $99 with a 2-year Sprint or Verizon contract. Best Buy is also offering $200 discount on the iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus with the activation of an AT&T Next plan and Apple Watch Sport with $50 discount.

Furthermore, there's $150 off on select MacBook laptops, and college students can have a total of $300 discount through the Student Deals program.

Audiophiles will also enjoy this year's Best Buy anniversary sale. They can get Ultimate Ears' Refurbished UE MEGABOOM Portable Wireless and Bluetooth Speaker for only $149.99. Not only that, they can have $180 off on Beats Studio wireless on-ear headphones.

Buyers can also get the 65-inch Samsung 4K LED Smart TV for only $999.99, which comes with $400 discount. In addition, the 64-inch Samsung 1080p HDTV is available for only $629.99.

For laptop users, they can have HP's Pavilion x360 Touch-Screen Laptop for $349.99. This is device powered with Intel Core i3, 6G of RAM and 500GB Hard Drive. If the Pavilion x360 is too expensive, there's Dell's Inspiron 11.5-inch laptop which is only priced at $109.99

While some of the deals are online-only, it appears that most of the discounted items are available in stores. Take note that most of the items have free 2-day shipping.

According to Forbes, Best Buy survived the heavily competitive tech market by working out with carriers to sell phones and services in-store. In addition, unlike Amazon, Best Buy offers human touch to its customers. For example, when customers enter a Best Buy store, they are instantly greeted with a smile.
