The biggest issue with Dancing With The Stars is how the cast never gets announced until just before the season starts, but everyone really wants to know. Austin, JoJo Fletcher, and Simon Biles.
According to PopSugar, the full cast is going to be announced next week on Good Morning America on August 30, but there are some potential contestants for the Season 23 cast. These include:
Ryan Lochte: The Olympic swimmer is apparently a "front runner" to join the competition. That has been confirmed by USA Today and US Weekly, and this is somewhat of a surprise. After all, the 12-time Olympic medalist was condemned for exaggerating a true story, as he declared that he fabricated a report that he and three teammates on the U.S. swim team were held up at gunpoint by men with badges. Instead, this end up being Lochte and Jimmy Feigen accused of falsely claiming a robbery to cover up their trashing a bathroom.
Amber Rose: There are many reports that the talk show host, model, author, actress, and activist has signed on. This is according to E Online and US Magazine, and Rose recently started her new VH1 talk show, The Amber Rose Show.
Jake T. Austin: If that name sounds familiar to you, then you might be a fan of Disney Channel's The Wizards of Waverly Place. He also appeared on Freeform's The Fosters from 2013-2015, and he could be dancing.
Simone Biles: This is another Olympian who is rumored to be on DWTS. Biles has even admitted that she would like to be on the dancing reality show, but is not certain if she can even fit it in. Apparently, she has a three-month tour planned now that the Olympics are over.
JoJo Fletcher: According to Yibada, JoJo Fletcher, the 25-year-old star of The Bachelorette, could be putting on her dancing shoes, and she could be paired with Valentin Chmerskovskiy.
While we are on the subject of what professional dancers will be returning, they have already been announced on Good Morning America on August 23rd. Not only do they include Valentin Chmerskovskiy, but Artem Chigvintsev, Gleb Saavchenko, Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess, Allison Holker, and Lindsay Arnold. It looks like Kym Johnson has confirmed that she is not returning as a professional dancer.
Season 23 of Dancing with the Stars will return to television on September 12 on ABC. As stated before, we will know who the cast will be on August 30.
