Moto E3 Power Specs, Price and Release Date in the United States

Latest reports say Motor E3 Power will become available in India in the next few weeks. After that, it will be released to other markets. As the name suggests, the phone comes with long-lasting and reliable battery. Now, here's the latest update about Moto E3 Power release date, specs and price.

Moto E3 Power recently went on sale in Hong Kong for just HKD1,098 ($142), according to Playfuldroid. Aside from Hong Kong, the company's India subsidiary reveals the phone will be sold soon in India as well. On Twitter, the company used hashtag #NeverMissOut to promote the Moto E3 Power which emphasizes the phone's main feature: longer battery life.

Tech experts say the Moto E3 Power will become competitive against other budget smartphones available in India. With its entry-level specs, the phone may be priced around Rs. 10,000.

For other markets, a report from GSM Arena says the phone will be released in the United Kingdom early September. In the United States, there has been no official announcement from Motorola, but some websites claim it will become available in the country next month.

The Moto E3 Power offers more inbuilt storage, more memory and of course the above mentioned long-lasting battery than the standard Moto E3.

Furthermore, the phone features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display. Inside, it is powered by a 64-bit 1GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core SoC partnered with 2GB of RAM. It also offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable for up to 128 GB via MicroSD slot.

For camera technology, the Moto E3 Power has 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. Plus, it has 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies. The connectivity options of the device are 4G LTE, GPS, Buetooth, and Wi-Fi.

The smartphone also runs on Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Next year, it might be upgraded to Android Nougat.

The Moto E3 Power boasts 3500mAh battery capacity, a significant increase from the standard model which only have 2800mah power. The improved battery life is one of the most requested upgrade by gadget users. 

In related news, the Moto G4 Plus is now available for $249. This smartphone has 16MP camera and fingerprint scanner. Also, earlier this year, the Moto Z and Z Force were released. Buyers can magnetically snap Motorola's MotoMods on these devices. The Motor mods have aesthetic and utilitarian purposes that will make any device more awesome.
