After G5, LG is now preparing to release another top-class smartphone under the name LG V20. The successor of V10 comes with sturdy design, impressive camera and audiophile-grade music playback. It is set to become available worldwide this month in three color options: titan (dark gray), silver, and pink.

Here's the latest round-up of update about LG V20 release date, specs and price.

LG claims the V20 can survive everyday drops because of its silicon polycarbonate material, which is rated MIL-STD 810G for drop and shock absorbency, as per report from Engadget.

Furthermore, users will definitely enjoy the smartphone's second screen that displays notifications, app shortcuts and other fancy gimmicks. The tiny horizontal screen of V20 is brighter and has improved contrast than the V10. Also, the additional screen is way more useful than a full-screen always-on display: less power-hungry, less intrusive, more customizable.

On the Inside, The Verge says the V20 has top-class internal features. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM, features that are also present in 2016 flagship devices. Buyers can also store plenty of files through V20's 64GB of internal storage which is upgradable up to 2TB via microSD card.

Camera-wise, the V20 has top-of-the-line features. It has dual-camera camera technology on the backside. The "standard angle" 16MP sensor is equipped with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, while a much wider 8MP camera has f/2.8 aperture. The dual camera set-up also comes with autofocus and phase detection to identify subjects faster.

Selfie lovers will also love V20's 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with f/1.9 aperture.

For audiophiles, LG says the V20 has "Quad" DAC that significantly ranks up volume, minimizes distortion and supports lossless music files. The phone also boasts high-quality video recording (24 bit, 48 kHz) and superior-quality recording for audio alone (24 bit, 192 kHz).

Interestingly, the LG V20 is the first phone to arrive with pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat, Google latest operating system for mobile devices. The OS has awesome features that Android users will find very functional.

Android Nougat offers split-screen mode which allows users to open two apps in one screen. In addition, its Quick Settings and the Settings menu are crisp and clean.

As we mentioned earlier, the V20 might become available this month of September. The phone might be priced around $800.

LG is sending updates on the device release dates and promotional offer through an email list that can be signed up on LG's V20 product introduction website here.
