The Miami Heat are still facing an uncertain future with the departure of Dwyane Wade and unlikely return of LeBron James. With Chris Bosh still unsure of his health status and their recent failure to win the Kevin Durant free agency campaign, the Hassan Whiteside squad is looking into adding one NBA All-Star to complete their Big 3 lineup. Hence, a Blake Griffin trade is said to be on its way this offseason.

The disappointing NBA season of the Los Angeles Clippers has led fans of the franchise to call for a rebuild of the DeAndre Jordan lineup. The first person who is anticipated to be on the trading block is Blake Griffin. Practically absent the entire season last year, the NBA All-Star has been deemed unfit to still lead the basketball squad.

Rumors are rife that a Blake Griffin trade has been a long time coming to the Miami Heat. Without their biggest stars, the Hassan Whiteside team has enough cap space to offer a lucrative deal to the Los Angeles Clippers star. Moreover, the Miami Heat are in dire need of a star who can replace Dwyane Wade as the face of the franchise. Will a Blake Griffin trade be the answer to this dilemma?

At this point, no official comment has been given by any of the parties involved. Hence, a Blake Griffin trade to the Miami Heat remains an NBA rumor. However, fans are hoping to see a substantial change in the Los Angeles Clippers roster this season. As for the Hassan Whiteside team, a third member of the Big 3 would save Pat Riley the heartache of possibly not even making it to the playoffs this season.

Morever, Doc Rivers had been busy slamming NBA trade rumors involving Blake Griffin. According to the Los Angeles Clippers head coach, all stars in their current lineup are valuable to the team. With the Blake Griffin free agency season coming up, will Doc Rivers be proven right when he said that the core of their NBA team will remain intact?

"We knew none of it was true," shared Doc Rivers of the Blake Griffin trade rumors. He added, "We figured that it was one of your guys starting these rumors here in Boston. I was trying to find out who it was. Blake and Chris Paul are free agents and just like last year, Oklahoma had to deal with that, now it's our turn."

What do you think? Should the Miami Heat push for a Blake Griffin trade now instead of waiting for him to hit free agency? Should the Los Angeles Clippers be open to an NBA trade involving their star?
