NBA Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks Announce Rudy Gay trade; Greg Monroe, Jabari Parker Welcome Kings Star

The Milwaukee Bucks are expected to make a strong case in the Eastern Conference in the next NBA season. Noted as the basketball squad to have broken the winning streak of the Golden State Warriors last year, the Jabari Parker team is anticipated to execute massive deals this offseason. Hence, it comes as no surprise that the Milwaukee Bucks are part of the Rudy Gay trade talks as of late.

The Sacramento Kings have been dealing with NBA trade rumors since last season. A disgruntled Rajon Rondo walked away from the team and signed with the Chicago Bulls, admitting that the group needs to sort out their strategies and management should implement more structure. Meanwhile, DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors are also making their way to other teams as the big man continues to look frustrated over the NBA squad. However, the Rudy Gay trade rumors are the most prevalent in the league.

"The Kings and Rudy Gay are headed toward a divorce; it's only a matter of time," predicted Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders.

He further noted, "Uncertainty is a problem in any transaction in the NBA, but as things get closer to the trade deadline and teams fail to meet their objectives, obtaining a versatile small forward who more than likely opts out is a viable possibility. Word is the Kings do not want a ton in return for him, so this one seems like a matter of when rather than if."

Among the NBA teams interested in a Rudy Gay trade are the Houston Rockets, who want him to pair up with James Harden in place of Dwight Howard; Los Angeles Lakers, who expect him to mentor D'Angelo Russell; and Boston Celtics, who see him as a great leader for Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas. However, the Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly the most in dire need of a Rudy Gay trade and his talent.

"A trade still seems the most likely case for Rudy. He'll come out and play well, even if he doesn't play much better than last season," shared Greg Wissinger of SB Nation. He added, "The Kings will lower their asking price, or another team will become more desperate for help and increase their offer. Rudy and the Kings move on from each other, hopefully to the benefit of both parties."

Rumors are rife that the Milwaukee Bucks badly need a shooter and a Rudy Gay trade could be the answer to this concern. However, no official statement has been given by any of the parties involved in the NBA trade rumor. As of now, the Milwaukee Bucks are concentrating on developing stars like Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe. As for the Sacramento Kings, a Rudy Gay trade remains unconfirmed.
