Despite the legacy that MacBook's have upheld, they've remained with a stable and consistent design; both the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. In a report by Forbes, the Hewlett-Packard Spectre appears to be the best consumer laptop; the latest model is 13.3-inch and based on reports by HP, they claim that this laptop is the thinnest in the world. However, the carbon fiber and awesome aluminum build are just in another dimension. The Spectre has dimensions of 10.4mm, this is impressive owing to the fact that the laptop weighs only 2.45 pounds.


The standard Spectre constitutes an Intel Core i7 processor, a 13.3-inch screen, 1920-by-1080 display, a 265GB solid-state storage, and a USB Type-C, The RAM Totals to 8GB. The battery use is approximately 6-7 hours. Many have reported enjoying the awesome keyboard, 1080p display, performance, and reasonable weight. The laptop sells at a starting price of $1,169.99

Dell XPS 13

Dell XPS is the ultimate business laptop, the laptop has maintained a perfect balance between performance, battery life, weight, and size. In a bid to maintain minimal weight of approximately 2.7 pounds, Dell used aluminum and carbon fiber. The laptop runs on a 6th generation Core i7 processor that ensures high performance. The battery life is dependent on the display; for instance, the 3,200-by-1,800 pixels yields 6-8 hours of battery life. However, the laptop can be adjusted to maintain 10 hours of battery life. This laptop sells at an affordable $799.99

MacBook

MacBook qualifies to be the best compact and ultra-light laptop. The new MacBook Air 12-inch retina is on another level. It's ultra-thin, the ultra-light feature has just set new standards for ultra-thin laptops. The laptop weighs 2 pounds and is 0.52 inches thick. Many prefer this laptop since it can be used like a tablet. The laptop has 2304-by-1,440 resolution, 8GB RAM, and 256 GB of flash storage. The keyboard is also in another dimension; however, not every user is capable of handling the keyboard; some people have raised complaints about the same. The laptop comes with a single USB-C connector to facilitate expansion. The laptops battery life can take you for as long as 8-hours plus if you switch off the keyboards backlight. The price for this MacBook is $1299.
