Google’s recently announced smartphones, the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL can now be purchased over at the Google Store, not to mention Verizon and Best Buy. However, it seems that the Google Stock has run out of its stock for both smartphones -- 32GB and 128GB models that will arrive in Quite Black and Very Silver shades, which is a pretty decent indicator on how the masses have reacted to the devices’ respective releases. Surely the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 explosion and fire-catching fiasco would to a certain degree, help shift some users over to Google’s Pixel camp. Shipment for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL are tipped to kick off next month, although those who are happy to wait can always place an order with Google directly and play the patience card, at least until Google restocks their collection of smartphones.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL pre-order from Verizon
The pre-order promotion for both handsets are now over, although those who were early adopters and continue to have faith that there will be no spontaneous combustion in these two latest Google devices, placing their pre-orders with Verizon, would have benefitted from a free Daydream View VR headset -- with all of the relevant requirements fulfilled, of course. .

If you are a Verizon subscriber and would like either the Pixel or Pixel XL to be your next smartphone, you can also pick up the Really Blue shade, although that color will miss out on the 128GB of internal storage, leaving users with a paltry 32GB to play with. Expect Verizon pre-orders of the 128GB Very Silver Pixel and 32GB Very Silver Pixel XL to ship out from November 12th onward .

As for those who prefer the 128GB Very Silver Pixel XL, 128GB Quite Black Pixel XL and 32GB Really Blue Pixel XL, your patience will be tried since you will have to wait for at least three more weeks, with a targeted shipping date of December 2nd.

Verizon has calmed fears that software updates will be slow in arriving for these new Google devices, citing that all of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL models that they sell will receive the relevant updates at the same time with those devices purchased directly from Google.

Best Buy carries some Pixel and Pixel XL goodness, too
If you are rocking to other subscribers apart from Verizon, such as T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint, fret not. You might not have been eligible for Verizon’s pre-order offer, but at least you can still get your Pixel and Pixel XL kicks from Best Buy. Best Buy will carry the 32GB Quite Black Pixel and 32GB Very Silver Pixel, where both sport the Verizon branding.

Do take note that the Verizon Pixel and Pixel XL will be carrier unlocked, which means you are able to use it on the T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint networks without having to jump through hoops or perform magic tricks. All in all, the holiday season would most probably see many Pixel and Pixel XL devices being bandied about.
