Dishonored 2 Release Date Confirmed With New Live Action Trailer, Pre-order Bonuses and Collector's Editions

Get ready for another round of action in Dishonored 2. Publisher Bethesda recently released a live action trailer for the sequel which is titled "Take Back What's Yours". Dishonored 2 will be released next month, but players can play it earlier than the scheduled launching.

The official release date of Dishonored 2 is on Nov. 11, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. But for those who pre-order the game, they can stealth their way to victory a day earlier. Bethesda said it will give away the sequel for early buyers to give them advantage.

Dishonored 2 is available in Steam, GameStop, and Bethesda Store.

In the live-action trailer, fans a glimpse of what will happen in the sequel. Partnered with great musical scoring, the teaser shows the abilities of protagonist Emily Kaldwin as she tries to take back her throne. As seen in the video, she has the ability to become stealthy shadow finish to finish her enemies quickly.

Unlike the original game, the sequel's characters are voiced. In an interview with GameSpot, creative director Harvey Smith said the voiced protagonists will definitely make the game richer. In addition, players can become more emotionally invested in the game through the voiced characters.

During this year's E3 press conference, Bethesda showcased the contents of Dishonored 2's Collector's Edition. With $99.99 price tag, the premium package contains Emily Kaldwin's ring, a copy of the game, a bust of Corvo's mask and more.

Corvo Attano's mask comes with a stand. The mask stands at 13.5" in height and 6" in width. Emily Kaldwin's ring, on the other hand, is made of zinc and alloy. It also includes sophisticated embossed ring box with purple velvet inner lining.

Aside from physical items, the Collector's edition comes with the Imperial Assassin's pack. The free in-game items are Duelist's Luck charm, Void Favor charm, Antique Serkonan Guitar, a book and 500 bonus coins.

For new features, Dishonored 2 lets players customize their powers in vastly different ways. For example, they can become a shadow to silently stalk and finished their target. They can also have an ability to link their enemies and slay them in one attack.
