Samsung will unleash next month its first ever smartphone that has 6GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is a mid-range handset that has bigger RAM than the Galaxy Note 7. Now, here's the latest update on Galaxy C9's release date on U.S., Europe and Asian regions.

Digital Trends reported the Galaxy C9 Pro will become available in China on November 11. With gold and rose gold color options, the smartphone will be priced at 3,199 yuan ($470). However, as of now, Samsung has not yet announced if the phone will land on other parts of the globe.

The main selling point of Galaxy C9 Pro is its 6GB of RAM, which is first of Samsung. So, it is not too surprising to know if the company decides to sell it on wider market like the U.S. According to tech experts, the bigger RAM of Galaxy C9 will help it to handle multiple tasks. For comparison, the top-spec Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge only offer 4GB of RAM.

In a Geekbench testing, the smartphone got 1,304 points in the single-core test and 4,366 points in the multi-core benchmark.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's new octa-core Snapdragon 653 chipset clocked at 1.95-gigahertz (GHz), which is partnered with Adreno 510 GPU. In addition, there's a 64GB onboard storage that is expandable for up to 2GB via MicroSD card.

To keep the lights on, the phone packs 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support.

For its exterior, it features a large 6-inch screen with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution and Super AMOLED display. Under the screen, there is the combination of a home button and multitasking buttons that are familiar to Samsung fans.

According to a report from SamMobile, the C9 Pro has a couple of 16-megapixel cameras, which is another first for Samsung. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7 only offer 12-megapixel snappers. Buyers can also expect the standard camera features in C9 Pro such as dual-LED flash, phase detection, HDR and autofocus.

Software-wise, the smartphone may come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. But there are reports that claim it might come with pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat.

We'll keep you posted if the Galaxy C9 Pro will become available in other markets soon. Let's wait for more announcements from Samsung. What are your thoughts about the phone? Let us know in the comments section.
