The 2017 Honda Civic is certainly one hot looking vehicle with its extremely futuristic looking design. We do know that the sedan is already out, but what about the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, Si and Type R models? Those are variants to the Civic Hatchback, and we shall take a closer look at all of them below.

2017 Honda Civic Si
The 2017 Honda Civic Si makes a return, and boy oh boy, does it carve out a grin on the face of enthusiasts everywhere. It will pack more punch than ever before, and word on the street has it that the Civic Si will come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine or a 2.0-liter turbo engine, where it will arrive in coupe and sedan models. Since it will be a high performance ride, we would not be surprised at all to see that it will also arrive with high-performance tires that work alongside brake rotors and limited-slip differential. All of the engineering effort poured into the Civic Si would make it the fastest of its kind to date, but these are just words until backed up by actual performance data. A six-speed manual transmission of the Civic Si has also been confirmed. As it stands, we have no idea on when it will be launched, and neither do we know how much it will cost. Everything remains under wraps for now,

2017 Honda Civic Type R
The Type R badge has always received a whole lot of respect from motorheads and performance car enthusiasts. Well, we are pleased to bring you news on the 2017 Honda Civic Type R which is basically a hatchback on steroids. Meant to go up against the other compact rockets such as the Ford Focus RS, Subaru WRX STI and Volkswagen Golf R, the new generation Civic Type R will go one sale in the US in 2017, although there is no word on an exact release date just yet. Sporting an extremely aggressive face alongside a winged carbon-fiber splitter accompanied by ducts, you can be sure that heads are guaranteed to turn whenever you bring the Civic Type R out for a sin. Fat 245-section performance tires will be accompanied by 20-inch black-alloy wheels, and you will find red accents all over the place, with the signature red background for the Honda "H" badges being there as well. We could see a possible 340 horsepower eked from the engine, and it will most probably be a manual and front-wheel drive ride.

2017 Honda Civic Hatchback
As for the 10th generation 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, this is clearly a model that will feature four doors as well as a more sporty look. Built in Swindon, U.K., it is the average soccer mom or dad's car that is functional and yet has snazzy looks that will not make you look out of place if you decide to spend an evening out at a swanky hotel for a hot date. This model will come with a 174-hp 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, with up to five trim levels on offer: the Sport, EX, EX-L, and Sport Touring. Basically, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback is a practical ride, with Honda claiming it will offer “the largest cargo-carrying capacity in the competitive set.” Who knows? This might be your first Honda which sets you on a lifelong journey in the future.
