It looks like the Internet does not sleep, and with that, neither does the rumor mill when it comes to the star studded cast of the NBA. The latest rumor that is being thrown about in NBA circles would involve names that we are all familiar with -- and the latest focus will include luminary teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings, while the players involved would be DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, and Serge Ibaka, being pawns in a potential trade.

One ought to remember that there are teammates involved here, which would be DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay. Both of these big star names might not be too happy with how the Sacramento Kings are being run at the moment, and Rudy Gay has openly declared that he intends to leave the Kings once this season is over. DeMarcus Cousins could follow suit, should the Kings fail to find their footing in the league and continue in a downward spiral with subsequent games. After all, players such as these might figure out that they will start to see their stock slide should they be associated with anything less than a successful team.

As for Serge Ibaka, he was traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Orlando Magic in the offseason. Certain insiders claim that Ibaka has not managed to find his footing in the system that the Orlando Magic head coach Frank Vogel is employing at the moment, and Vogel would not mind using Ibaka as a trading piece for a player who is then able to fit into his system. Hence, whispers are going around that all three teams mentioned here have hopped on the transfer merry go round for a possible deal.

Here is some food for thought that will involve the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Sacramento Kings. With half a dozen players and a future draft pick in the mix, it could end up with the Los Angeles Lakers picking up DeMarcus Cousins from the Kings as well as Aaron Gordon from Orlando Magic. As for Orlando Magic, they will get Rudy Gay in return from the Kings, with Jordan Clarkson from the Lakers, while the Sacramento Kings can augment their line up with Serge Ibaka from Orlando Magic while listing Julius Randle and a first-round draft pick from the LA Lakers.

What do you think of all of the proposed player movements above? Will there be a clear winner from it all, or will it be rather lopsided? At the end of it, every team and player involved would need to want to make the move, otherwise, everything else will simply fall apart. There are also others who have stepped forward and claim that such rumor mongering is irresponsible to say the least, where the rumored deals and proposed player swaps involving the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, and Sacramento Kings are not only unfeasible, but also ridiculous as well, with the NBA trade rules being another spanner in the works.
