If there is one thing that Android smartphone owners are always on the lookout for, it would be this: getting the latest operating system update that is available. Unfortunately, the update schedule for the latest Android version tends to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and here we are with the latest details on the Android 7.0 Nougat update release date. Basically, if you own a Sony Xperia XZ, the LG G5 from T-Mobile, or the flagship HTC 10 from HTC, then you ought to be able to rock to some Android 7.0 Nougat goodness already.

Sony Xperia XZ picks up the Android 7.0 Nougat update
Good things come to those who wait, and it does seem as though reports are trickling in online that point to owners of the Sony Xperia XZ receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update. So far, at least one person in India has left a tip that he/she is rejoicing with Nougat goodness on the Xperia XZ handset. A quick check over at the XDA Developer forums is always a good bet to hear the latest on the update situation, and our efforts were well rewarded with word that India is not the only country to have its Xperia XZ handsets served with a dollop of Nougat -- those living in the likes of Turkey, Australia, the Netherlands, and Russia too, are receiving their Android 7.0 Nougat updates. If you happen to reside in any of the countries mentioned above, how has your experience with Nougat been?

Android 7.0 Nougat comes to T-Mobile's LG G5
It was just a couple of days ago that we brought you word on how Sprint's LG G5 started to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update, and here we are with the latest information that T-Mobile subscribers who are rocking to the dual camera LG G5 too, are able to enjoy some Android 7.0 Nougat goodness on their handsets as per Reddit user. After installing the update, the build software version should be read as NRD90U. It is widely expected for the older LG V10 and LG G3 handsets to pick up Android 7.0 Nougat in due time, although no concrete release date has been set just yet.

HTC 10 and Android 7.0 Nougat
First introducing the Android 7.0 Nougat update for HTC 10 owners last Friday, this could also be the same ROM that might be found on the HTC 10 evo, which is the HTC Bolt's international model. Do take note that this update is available only for unlcoked devices. So far, the international availability of the Android 7.0 Nougat update for HTC 10 owners have not been mentioned or revealed, but the Taiwanese firm did promise in the past that they intend to roll out the most recent mobile operating system version within 90 days of its availability. Fingers crossed that they keep to their word this time around too!

Do take note that the Android 7.0 Nougat update will weigh in at a minimum of 1GB, so it is always prudent to be connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before starting, not to mention having at least 50% of battery life on your device available. Oh yes, do make a backup of your important files, too, just in case Murphy comes a-knockin’ on your door.
