Want to watch the 2017 Rose Parade via a livestream? Celebrate the coming new year, 2017, with the Rose Parade. The 128th Tournament of Roses Parade, or Rose Parade, will see KTLA 5 Los Angeles broadcast the parade live. It will kick off the pre-parade coverage at 6:00 a.m. PST, which would mean those in the West Coast will have to get up nice and early while our family and friends in the East Coast are already up and running, sipping on their morning coffee in their pajamas. As for the parade itself, KTLA 5 Los Angeles will offer a commercial-free (how rare is that these days?) broadcast from 8:00 a.m. PST onward.

Once the live parade is over, the action does not stop there KTLA 5 Los Angeles will continue to broadcast encores of the 2017 Rose Parade, but this time around, there will be commercials inserted in between -- obviously some of the Rose Parade’s happenings that are not deemed to be too important will be cut out from the final edit.

Other than viewing the 2017 Rose Parade on channel 5 on KTLA, you will be able to catch it on your mobile device or on a computer thanks to KTLA’s live stream at KTLA.COM. The YouTube channel that will broadcast the 2017 Rose Parade live can be found here. More information on the live broadcast of the 2017 Rose Parade on TV can be found here.

KTLA 5 is not the only TV channel to broadcast the 2017 Rose Parade live, as you can find a live broadcast from the following parties: ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, NBC, Univision, RFD-TV, FamilyNet, an SiriusXM - just make sure that you check with your local broadcast listings for the latest and most updated information. A Brief History of the Rose Parade
Also popularly referred to as the Tournament of Roses Parade, the Rose Parade is a presentation by Honda and happens to be just one part of "America's New Year Celebration" that is hostedin Pasadena, California. It is an annual event that happens on New Year's Day, although in 2017, it will be held on a Monday as New Year's Day happens to be a Sunday. The Rose Parade will boast of plenty of pomp and pageantry, sporting flower-covered floats, marching bands, as well as equestrian units. It will also be a treat for football fans, since it is also followed up by the Rose Bowl college football game. The entire production is attributed to the non-profit Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, and the Rose Parade is steeped in history with more than a century’s worth of celebrations since starting on January 1, 1890.

Are you excited yet? We do know that the 2017 Rose Parade will be bigger and better than ever before, sporting a whopping 44 floats, 19 equestrian units with around 400 horses, and 22 marching bands.
