The questions surrounding the Andrew Bogut contract this NBA season have yet to find answers. While the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics have expressed interest in the big man, it looks like another basketball squad hopes to land the Australian center soon. With the DeMarcus Cousins trade to the New Orleans Pelicans clearing off a huge space for the Sacramento Kings, sources hint at the Rudy Gay team's plans to lure the former Golden State Warriors star in their roster.

The Sacramento Kings had been highly criticized for their poor judgment that resulted in the DeMarcus Cousins trade during the NBA All-Star break. While the big man adapts to his new team alongside Anthony Davis, the Rudy Gay squad attempts to fix their organization as well. Many believe that the front office execs are now more concerned in signing basketball stars with positive influence on the team and it appears that an Andrew Bogut contract to the Sacramento Kings is the most attractive at the moment.

Rumors are rife that the Sacramento Kings want to sign stars who can bring a winning culture to the group. Although Vlade Divac did not specifically explain the issues surrounding the team that led to the DeMarcus Cousins trade midseason, the exec hinted that attitude concerns were big factors.

"It was a lot of things, but basically, I thought it was time to start over. There was a lot of bad stuff happening here the last five years, a lot of bad habits," shared Vivac of the DeMarcus Cousins trade. "There were always issues, many you don't even know about. Now I believe strongly this was the right thing to do for our future. Now I have a clear vision. This city deserves better, and I want to create that. With DeMarcus' situation, I basically was stuck."

The Golden State Warriors held the Andrew Bogut contract for five years before the group sent him to the Dallas Mavericks to pave the way for a Kevin Durant free agency campaign. With this in mind, some Sacramento Kings fans believe that the Australian big man could be a good influence to the sturggling Rudy Gay team. Since the Ty Lawson squad has yet to recover from their problematic dynamic on and off the court, many feel that the former Golden State Warriors leader could contribute to their rebuilding process.
