Are you stoked with the upcoming debut of Marvel’s Iron Fist in his very own TV series on Netflix this coming March 17? Well, there has been plenty of hype surrounding the Iron Fist TV series so far, ranging from its trailer and more recently, a featurette that showcased Madame Gao -- a villain from the Daredevil series on Netflix as well. Well, the latest leaks concern photos of the Iron Fist Netflix series which will be able to shed more light on the situation and possible scenarios in the miniseries. Of course, feel free to speculate on your own, as until the show is officially released, all kinds of story arcs and theories are fair game. Over a dozen new Iron Fist images have been released, so go nuts by checking them out here.

It must be noted that Iron Fist would be the fourth original series on Netflix that will feature a Marvel character. The other three so far are Marvel’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, and these would be the characters who would make up the main team members of The Defenders which is also set to premier on none other than Netflix itself. There is yet another series that is in the pipeline which will feature the no-nonsense anti-hero, Marvel’s The Punisher that stars Jon Bernthal.

Here is a quick recap which would help anyone get up to speed on Iron Fist before it debuts on Netflix this March 17. Billionaire Danny Rand, thought to have perished with his parents in a plane crash all those years ago, has bade a return to New York City. Rand’s return is meant to reconnect with his past as well as whatever family legacy there is left -- and he also made the conscious choice to go up against the criminal underworld in New York City through brawn (and brains, too). It is nice to see all of his kung-fu skills come to play while having the power of the fiery Iron Fist at his disposal.

Other folks who will make up the Iron Fist cast include Jessica Henwick (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Game of Thrones) who plays Colleen Wing, David Wenham (300, The Lord of the Rings) who stars as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup (90210, Ted) as Joy Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey (Banshee, As the World Turns) as Ward Meachum. Do expect to see Jessica Jones star Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix, The Bye Bye Man) appear as well, under the guise of lawyer Jeri Hogarth. All in all, it does look to be an exciting ensemble who will come together and make things happen.

If you are a huge fan of Marvel’s superheroes on the small screen, then surely you would have marked out March 17, 2017 on your calendar when the clock strikes 12:01am PT. The first season will comprise of 13 episodes in total, and completing it would also mean one step closer to The Defenders, which would be a budget Avengers of sort for the small screen.
