Jinger Duggar Wears Shorts In Photo, Commits Cardinal Sin In Duggar Family

When it comes to the Duggar family, we have all come to know the nuances and quirks in there -- including some rather unique rules that might seem to be archaic to the majority. For instance, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are right up there where strict parenting is concerned, especially when you have a whopping 20 children, but it looks like their little girl (all right, she is not that young any more at 23 years old), Jinger Duggar is all grown up by rebelling against one of the family rules: no wearing of shorts when taking a photo!

Yes, you read that right Jinger Duggar, was spotted with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, alongside a fan in a photo that featured her wearing a pair of shorts. Jinger Duggar is also the star on the Jill & Jessa: Counting On show, and this particular photo that you see here is extremely rare -- at least for a member of the Duggar family. After all, the Duggar ladies were strictly raised and taught to cover themselves up in public in order to maintain their modesty, with many of them sporting skirts most of the time, while there are shots of pants from time to time.

Michelle Duggar did share before, “My daughters are the second generation of modest dressing in this family. They’ve grown up being dressed modestly, and in clothes that are definitely more feminine apparel. I’ve told my daughters this has been a joyful journey for me to learn what my Lord has called me to. I really feel like the Lord is impressing upon me that I should be modest in what I wear. And also, that I really should be defining who I am as a woman by choosing to wear dresses and skirts.”

Well, this 23-year old daughter of hers certainly has taken her fashion taste to a different level in terms of family convention. Perhaps it is because she is now the matriarch of her own household, having moved to Texas with her husband. Most of us would consider a lady wearing a pair of shorts as normal, but perhaps Jinger is feeling “rebellious” in this sense? After all, she did share that she lived in sin before discovering Jesus for herself at age 14. In her sharing, she mentioned, “I came to my parents and I was like, I really need Jesus because I know in my own self I’m not going to be able to get to heaven. I’ve done so many bad deeds. I’ve sinned against God. I cannot save myself from my sins. I was totally broken.”

What other Duggar conventions that Jinger has defied before? She did side-hug Jeremy before marrying him, which was considered to be a no-no among the Duggars. Not only that, she also did share some light moments concerning her sex life on the family's reality series, which is deemed to be anathema. One particular question that many people would be interested to know after their Australian honeymoon, when would the pitter patter of feet be heard in Jinger's own household?
