The Los Angeles Lakers are filled to the bream with potential as D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram lead their squad. However, the young stars could no longer simply rely on their raw talent to succeed in the NBA. While Nick Young, Metta World Peace and Luol Deng provide wisdom to the team, they still lack a leader with a strong winning mentality to keep them in line and focused on their goal. Will Luke Walton consider a Chris Bosh contract just to bring stability and a winner's mindset to their locker room?

The Miami Heat lost two of its biggest stars, LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dwyane Wade to the Chicago Bulls, following reports that Pat Riley refused to budge during contract negotiations. Now, it looks like the last remaining member of the glorious Big 3 era is also on the move. With Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic leading the Justise Winslow team, fans believe that Chris Bosh will be gone soon.

While the Miami Heat refuse to allow Chris Bosh back in the hardwood court, rumors are rife that the Los Angeles Lakers are eager to sign the former All-Star. Speculations indicate that former Golden State Warriors coach Luke Walton aims to utilize the wisdom and winning mentality of Chris Bosh to motivate the likes of D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram in the team. That is, the veteran is rumored to play mentor to the younger stars and impart his life lessons to the young ones.

At this point, no official comment has been given by the parties tagged in this NBA rumor. However, fans could not help but notice that the young stars in the Los Angeles Lakers roster had been highly criticized by the front office. Specifically, the management expressed their frustration over the lack of strong leadership in the lineup.

"Be aggressive. No matter what my role is, just be aggressive," shared D'Angelo Russell of the advice from the front office. He added, "I think I was, I guess my mentality wasn't in the right place. I wasn't really making shots. I didn't create for others, either. It's just new, being in the position I was in, finding the openings. [They] are all in foreign positions for me."

Some Los Angeles Lakers fans believe that a one-year Chris Bosh contract could greatly benefit the young team. They claim that this would be a great investment if it means D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram develop the same mentality as Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and of course, Chris Bosh.
