The gaming community is now excited for the official reveal of Far Cry 5 this Friday. Ubisoft is expected to announcement more details about the controversial poster of the sequel. The current Far Cry 4 has a magnificent open-world setting that captivated many gamers. So, we expect the Ubisoft will set the higher for the next installment of the franchise.

Now, let's find out if Ubisoft will unveil Far Cry 5 gameplay in the live announcement.

The Far Cry 5 live stream is scheduled to happen at 2 pm BST this Friday (26 May 2017). There's a live countdown on Ubisoft's website, so you will not miss out the announcement. In addition, you can tune-in to Ubisoft Youtube and their Twitch Channel.

The recently released Far Cry 5 poster is very controversial. It shows seven characters that are arrayed around a table, similar to Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece Last Supper. On the table, there's an American flag, but the stars representing the 50 states is replaced by an eight-pointed symbol.

The man in the middle is wearing yellow glasses with palms open wide. He is also sitting in front of an open book. Beneath the table, there are ammunitions and weapons, such as assault rifles, tactical shotgun, a bow, and grenades.

One of the noticeable characters in the poster is the shirtless man. He is sitting on the ground with his hands tied on his back, and the word "SINNER" is etched on his skin.

Rumors around the internet claim the next Far War Cry will tell the story of a militant Christian cult. It is not yet revealed if the people on the poster are friends or antagonists in the story, but we'll know more in the Ubisoft live stream.

In the 42-second teaser, it shows the game's setting will be in Montana, which is the fourth-largest state in the fictional Hope County. We still don't know the full details of this new location. But the Far Cry franchise has been popular for putting players in exotic open world environments, such as the Himalayas, Africa, and Micronesia. So we expect the Montana will still be immersive just like previous maps in the franchise.

The game is scheduled to hit gaming shelves before 2018.
