Feb 6, lunar Dec 28, the Manhattan Chinese Baptist Church held their Lunar New Year Sunday service.

In the sermon, Rev. Andrew Yu pointed out that most people want to receive "prosperity." However,he asked, where did it come from? Answering the question, he stated that the most important thing was to know that fortune came from the Heavenly God.

He urged believers to live a diligent life, combined in the Word of God. Through this, he said, one will gain new life and new strength every day. Rev. Yu also urged congregants to be successful Christians and offer many fruits to God this year.

In the whole month of February, Rev. Andrew Yu plans to deliver sermons following the same theme "Fortune from the Bible."

After service, members of Manhattan Chinese Baptist Church had table fellowship and meditated on the blessings that they had received from God during this year.

The Manhattan Chinese Baptist Church was founded in 1986 in the financial district of New York. Since then, it has welcomed more than 1,000 people to its doors, and guided more than 80 to receiving baptism. The church plans to hold another baptism in Easter of this year.
