A leading evangelical Chinese Church in California will host its Annual Church Conference with an aim to release the power of the Holy Spirit, which will bring revival among the congregations.

Co-organized by the River of Life Christian Church in the Silicon Valley and the Taipei Bread of Life Church, Ling-Leung Conference will be held at the Biltmore Hotel, Santa Clara, Calif. from June 29 thru July 2.

"Ling-Leung" is the Chinese name of the Bread of Life Church, which is a non-denominational evangelical church founded in Taiwan and spread to all over the world. River of Life Christian Church, as part of the Bread of Life Church worldwide, follows a cell-church model in discipleship and now has over 1,000 members.

Entering the ninth year of such Conference, the theme for this year is "Release The Power Of Heaven". According to the head pastor of River of Life Christian Church Rev. Liu Tong, the theme is not only "the proclamation to God," but it is also God’s will "to show His power and authority in his people" so that Christians are empowered to confront the challenges of this world and many obstacles of life.

"In fact, this year is the 100th Anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival, and we believe that the Holy Spirit will rekindle our lives, so that this generation will experience the power of revival!" said Liu.

A wide range of programs tailor-made to different age groups are prepared. Looking upon the growth of the English-speaking youth and college students in the Church, English programs will be happening concurrently this year. Some of the topics are "Passion for Purity," "Worship Renewal," "Preparing your group for short-term mission," "Experiencing Easy Prayer Life" and so on.

There are also a special series of topics dedicated to the Mandarin speaking youth, such as "How to become cell-church leaders," "Setting up youth worship," "Strategy to Win the New Generation" and others.

Families are encouraged to join the conference as well because program for children is available. Apart from the selected workshops that participates are required to make their choices, there are overall gathering with senior pastors from Bread of Life churches in different parts of the U.S. and special guests. The special guests are Rev. Mike and Joy Connell, Rev. Rich Marshall. Rev. Nathaniel Chow, founding pastor of the Bread of Life Church, will fly all the way from Taipei.
