NEW YORK- Following the prayer of Chinese churches in the West Coast and Southern regions, ‘America, Return to God’ Prayer Rally will be extended to New York.

A press conference and sharing session was held in Tuesday afternoon at Oversea Chinese Mission Church, over 50 pastors and Christian leaders attended the meeting. With the theme "Recovering the Ethic Values in the U.S.", the founder of the "America, Return to God" Movement and chairman of the Great Commission Center International (GCCI) Rev. Thomas Wang shared a keynote message, calling the churches to pray for the repentance of the nation.

Wang has just completed his tour in Boston the night earlier, and he preached about the vision of "America, Return to God" Movement with great passion. He encouraged all Chinese church leaders to participate in the coming prayer meeting for New York on Sept. 23.

After the sharing session, pastors and Christian leaders group divided into groups of 3 to 5 people and prayed for 20 minutes. Rev. Jonathan Chiu from the New York Theological Seminary led the groups to pray for repentance, revival and healing of the United States.

Three prayer rallies are going to be held this week on the East Coast- Thursday at Philadelphia, Friday at Baltimore, and Saturday at the New York City- with the support of Rev Thomas Wang.
