Third Day appears at the American Music Awards

Grammy and Dove Award-winning rock band Third Day attended the American Music Awards this weekend as a nominee for Favorite Artist in the Contemporary Inspirational Music category. The band walked through red carpet interviews with outlets including ABC (AMA pre-show broadcast), Access Hollywood, E!, Extra and Entertainment Tonight. The 31st annual American Music Awards aired live from the Shrine Auditorium during a three-hour special on the ABC Television Network.

Third Day is currently in the studio with producer Paul Ebersold to record their 2004 release, The band plans include spring and fall tours next year, visiting more than 80 cities.

The band is also organizing a special event on Dec.10, 11, and 12, that will use their official website to update fans on the band's latest endeavors. Some features will include pictures updated all day in real time, video clips of the band recording in their studio, and listings of eBay auction items which were autographed by the band.
