Skillet is embarking on a tour with metal group Saliva. The aggressive, melodic, hard rock quartet will tour with their sibling band from Memphis, Saliva, soon after the national holiday of Independence in Cincinnati , OH.

In addition, Skillet celebrates its new release of their debut ‘Collide’ with major label Lava Records, with a #2 spot for their hit-single “Savior” on rock and college radio. With the single, the band recently won a match in WIYY in Baltimore, beating out new singles from acclaimed rock artists including Korn, Lenny Kravitz, and Fear Factory.

Previously under contract with Ardent Records, Skillet released 4 albums selling around 400,000 copies nationwide. Already established with the music marketplace, Skillet is planning to step into mainstream following the footsteps of successful brethren such as P.O.D, evanescence and also recently disbanded Creed.

Fronted by the husband and wife team of John Cooper (vocals/bass) and Korey Cooper (guitar/keyboard), Skillet combines elements of rock, metal and goth with pulsating, hook-filled melodies. Rounding out the band are 19-year-old guitarist Ben Kasica and powerhouse drummer Lori Peters.
