Web-based Management Software Facilitates Membership Updates

FLORENCE, SC -- ACS Technologies has released an expansion to a popular church management software called Access ACS, that will allow church members to modify their own information online. This new system will facilitates church record updating, allowing the most recent member information and easing the data entry load for church administrators.

The product is an extension of the popular People Suite software, an extensive member–based database program. The software allows the user to keep detailed records of the congregants’ information such as personal information, service attendance, summaries of gifts to the church and more.

Access ACS allows members to log onto their church website to update personal information such as name, address, phone number and email address which allows the church or organization to easily contact and inform members of the latest news and events.

Cindy Streett, Product Manager of Access ACS says, “Clients have been really excited about the convenience of this program. Pastors, administrators and lay leaders have all benefited from the ability to access member data online. Now Access ACS allows members to modify their own records securely via the internet 24 hours-a-day leaving church administrators time to focus on other tasks. ACS Technologies is always looking for ways to save our clients time or to make their organizational processes more efficient."

Development of the new software is a stop towards an entirely Web based information management system. "ACS Technologies is proud to be the industry leader moving our clients toward the most efficient way to manage information—via the Internet. We look forward to developing many more enhancements and new products that provide clients with the most cutting-edge technology, which promotes more efficient operations. It is important that as much of their time as possible goes toward achieving their ministry goals," says Hal Campbell, President and CEO of ACS Technologies.
