Chip Ingram: Living on the Edge

Chip Ingram (Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary) is the teaching pastor on Living on the Edge and President of Walk Thru the Bible. Originally from Ohio, Chip came to Atlanta by way of Texas and California. From 1982 to 1990, Chip pastored a church in a rural area outside Dallas and during that time it grew from 35 to over 400 members. Then in 1990, Chip accepted the Senior Pastor position at Santa Cruz Bible Church and moved to California with his wife Theresa, and their four children. Under his leadership that church grew from 1,000 to over 3,500, reflecting the relevance of Chip’s communication style and the integrity of the message he presents. And, most recently, in January of 2003, Chip and his family moved to Atlanta as he assumed the role of President of Walk Thru the Bible.



Chip is also a best selling author. Holy Ambition: What It Takes To Make A Difference For God (Moody Press); I Am With You Always (Baker Books); Holy Transformation: What It Takes For God to Make a Difference In You (Moody Press); and due out July of 2003, Love, Sex and Lasting Relationships (Baker Books).



Living on the Edge began in 1995 on one local radio station in the Santa Cruz area, and it can now be heard on hundreds of stations throughout the United States as well as online at www.lote.org. With a weekly listening audience of over a half a million people, Living on the Edge is one of todays most sought after radio broadcasts.
