Cross Ministry to Equip Christians on Ministering to Homosexuals

With homosexuality entering center-stage on most debates in churches, one ministry is offering a one-day conference which aims to educate the Church on how to evangelize and disciple the homosexual.

Cross Ministry, founded by Tom Wilkins, who once spoke during a Billy Graham Evangelistic Association event and the Exodus World Conference in England in 2000, is providing conferences to separate fact and fiction in the homosexual dialogue.

“Our churches, our schools and our culture are being bombarded with misinformation in order to legitimize homosexuality. Christians know that homosexuality is wrong, but many lack the knowledge and ability to refute the clever homosexual agenda,” states the Cross Ministry Web site.

The More than Words conferences are intended to equip Christians to respond to friends or family members identify with homosexuality and provide Biblical insight to homosexuality.

Wilkins is a graduate of Southwestern Seminary, a member of the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists and is endorsed by the North American Mission Board.

An upcoming conference is scheduled today at Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas.
