Silicon Valley, CA - Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International San Francisco Bay Area Chapter held a dinner gathering at China Stix restaurant, where around 300 plus people, consisting of both Christians and non-Christians, gathered to hear and experience why the brothers of FGBMF, dressed in Hawaiian shirts, call themselves the "The World's Happiest Man." The night's program began with the praise team leading praises and greetings, two couples, Neil Chang and his wife, directors of Mission For Chinese Families, FGBMFI - SFBC brother Wen Chen and his wife gave testimonies about how faith helped them through trials and errors in their marriages. The event ended with around 20 people, ranging from 14 years old to 70 years old, who placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

With the perspective of Christian faith, Neil and his wife performed a scene of conflict between husband and wife arguing over small matters.

Neil said that because her wife has some childhood wounds, so she is sensitive and needs much attention from him. However, because of work and their different personalities, the problem got worse to the point where she took her child and left home.

Later, he found out the seriousness of this problem, so he tried to change himself. While trying to change, he faced the difficulty of not being able satisfy his wife.

"I realized that arrogance is what makes me separated from God. Even though I want to do it, but I wasn't able to," testified Neil. "Through prayers, I was able to receive help from God to change myself willingly, and that is when I experienced joy."

"The source of happiness is from God. I realized that when I am first filled by God's love, then that is when I can use that joy towards my husband," testified Neil's wife. "Giving is better than receiving."

They testified how their marriage changed drastically when they recognized the need for God in their lives. They both agreed that instead of seeking to receive, it is important to setup their faith in God, and give that love and joy which they received to each other.

The second testimony was given by brother Wen Chen and his wife.

Wen, originally from China, shared his character before knowing God. As a senior engineer in a Silicon Valley company, Wen was arrogant and envious, and he was very demanding, using phrases such as "you must, you should" towards others. At the time, he began to seek after his own desires.

At that time, Wen's wife became a Christian, and under encouragements of church workers, she would write letters to her husband preaching the gospel for one whole year.

When Silicon Valley faced the financial crisis several years ago, he experienced failed business venture attempts that got him and his friends lay off from company. This was the turning point of his life, he told the audience.

He came to see his own arrogance and failure, which left him at a very low point. His wife read a Bible verse to him, and he testified about her support.

The Bible verse is taken from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily-angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevere. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."

Wen listed several verses taken from the Bible, Psalms, describing how God humbles those who are arrogant, but exalts those who are humble.

Knowing his mistakes and flaws, Wen took a humble approach to his manager. He spoke to him about regretting not being able to help the company any longer. However, he is willing to help them if the company is ever in need. They parted peacefully. Several days later, the company boss contacted him and told him that there is a need, so Wen was re-employed. The FGBMFI brothers testified how overjoyed Wen is reflected from his smile.

After Wen finished his testimony, he asked his wife to come up and he introduced her to the audience. He testified the support that his wife showed, and he said God have guided her to support him in the battles he faced, and that God's love allowed him to walk out from darkest valley to place of victory.

Gerry Liu, FGBMF president, concluded the night, and he asked the audiences who wants to accept Jesus Christ as savior to come forth, around 20 people, ranging from 14 years old to 70 years old, accepted Jesus Christ as their savior.
