Gospel Ship MV Doulos Brings Knowledge, Help, and Hope to Kaohsiung

The world’s largest and oldest book-shipping cruise ship MV Doulos is now docked by Kaohsiung Fishermen’s Wharf in Taiwan, bringing an unexpected surprise to the locals. Because of change in its travel route, it is visiting Taiwan now and will be visiting Hong Kong beginning from June.

Although MV Doulos could not come to North America before its retirement, those with relatives in Taiwan and Hong Kong should encourage them to go and see the ship’s grandiose and purchase their desired products.

Since it began its book-sharing business in 1978, Doulos has visited over100 nations and is carrying over 6,000 different types of books, bringing knowledge, help, and hope to every nation.

After visiting Kaohsiung until Apr. 28, the 95 year old cruise ship will travel to Hualien Habor and dock there from May 1st till 12th, and then travel to Keelung Harbor and dock there from May 15th till 28th.

While docking at the different harbors, the Doulos will host events such as book exhibitions, music, dance coffee station, international nights, and etc. Besides buying quality books, the participants can engage in cross-cultural dialogue with youths from 45 different countries.

MV Doulos will visit Hong Kong from June 6 till July 4th.
