If you head over to the Honda website now, you will find no information about the 2016 Honda Civic, but rather information on the ninth generation 2015 model.  The tenth generation 2016 is planned to be a step up from the ninth generation, which Car and Driver calls "that unlovable lump of cheapness".  Still, the Civic sales for Honda has been very good over the past few years, so naturally, the company will want to bring some serious improvements one of their highly-driven models.  This is what is known about the Honda Civic Sedan Review, Price, Release Date, and Specs.

According to Honda Auto Reviews, the common engine option is a standard 1.8 liter 143-horespower 4-cylinder, which comes in a pair with either a continuously variable automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual in some models.  There are also reports that it could have a 1.5-liter four-cylinder at 174 horsepower at 6000 rpm, and makes the 2924 pound 2016 Civic go from 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds.   It is possible to opt for the Civic Hybrid, which puts an electric motor between the 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine and additional amount of electrical power through the CVT.

The 2016 Honda Civic will be available in a new Special Edition model, and this new edition will be something of a combination between the base LX and the more luxurious EX models.  It will include some new features like the EX's Display Audio, automatic climate control, and Honda's Lane Watch right-side-view camera.

According to 2016 Cars Reviews, the new generation of the Honda Civic will be "even greater than you thought".  The new model for 2016 will be improved, refreshed, and redesigned, and it will be available in three different models:  wagon, sedan, and hatchback.  The front fascia and bumper have a new look, and there are newly designed LED headlights and daytime running lights.

As for the interior, it will have a terrific audio and electric system, a radar and navigation system, as well as a panoramic roof.  There will also be a 7-inch touchscreen display and Bluetooth connectivity, and it will have the Civic's split-level dash, which Honda enthusiasts either admire or despise.  The Civic's steering wheel has a useful touch-capacitive control for better control of the driving experience.

The current information about the 2016 Honda Civic is mixed when it comes to the price and the release date.  Some give a price range of about $25,000 and $35,000, while others go lower than that at $19,500 to $25,500.  The price will change depending on the options the buyer purchases.

As for the exact release date for the 2016 Honda Civic, information is also mixed.  It should go on sale sometime in the spring of 2016, or at the end of 2015.
