This has been a big fall season when it comes to games with popular franchises like Halo 5: Guardians and Fallout 4 entering the markets with record-breaking sales.  Another competitor is sure to be Star Wars Battlefront, and this long-awaited game is going to take many people way from reality on its release date.  Those that want to play the game as soon as possible should plan on attending a midnight release party and see if you can't get in on a pre-order.

So how big will the release date of Star Wars Battlefront be?  A recent commercial has shown that it will be enormous.  The ad shows people all across the world disappearing, leaving their clothes behind as if The Rapture has occurred.  Not being content with that image, it uses celebrity power as it ends with Anna Kendrick, star of the Pitch Perfect movies being raptured away as well.  At the end of this epic ad, all these disappearing people appear in the Star Wars Battlefront game, and it is symbolic of a similar event is going to happen on November 17th, 2015.

A recent report from Gaming Bolt has stated that both DICE and EA have ironed out a few of the game's details at the last minute after hearing feedback from the beat.  For example, the party system will show members in your party with green dots on the game's map. Also, the weapons and vehicles have all been "tweaked" to make the fights fairer.

Of course, those that have an EA Access account on their Xbox One are no doubt playing this game already, as it became available to play early on November 12, 2015, according to Gotta Be Mobile.  There have been a lot of screenshots and gameplay videos appearing on social media and elsewhere showing people playing as their favorite Star Wars characters in their favorite Star Wars battles.

The game is timed to be released just one month before the release date of the seventh official Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.  In fact, the first DLC (downloadable content) for the game will be "Battle of Jakku", and it is meant to bridge the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, according to IGN.  This battle takes place one year after the events of Return of the Jedi, and it allows the player to see the wasteland seen so prominently in The Force Awakens trailer.  The DLC will be available on December 8th for free.

For those that want to play the game as soon as possible, retail outlets are prepared for this with midnight release parties.  Those that want to purchase the game should see if the retailers in the area like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Gamestop are having an event like this.  Chances are, you might be the player to can grab a copy and play at 12:01 AM tonight, and begin playing with the many who will be raptured online.
