Fans can now get virtual tickets for this year's BlizzCon, which will be held on Nov. 4-5 2016 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The two-day event is expected to feature the finale of Overwatch World Cup and the announcement of heavily rumored Diablo.

Game publisher Blizzard announced last week the culmination of Overwatch World Cup would happen in November and players from the 16 teams will receive a free trip to BlizzCon 2016.

The Overwatch tournament will feature teams from different countries where Overwatch is being played, and participants will be voted by players and spectators. The voting will start on August 11. The nominees will include Pro Esport gamers, skilled gamers from participating countries, and local players who've reached the ranks in Season 1 of Competitive Play.

Once the preliminary matches are over, the 16 remaining teams will head to the World Cup at BlizzCon on November 5. The final matches will be a round robin set up and will continue until one team is left standing.

The first batch of tickets for Blizzcon 2016 was sold in April. Because of the overwhelming support of gamers, the standard tickets were immediately sold out. Good thing, Blizzard is offering virtual tickets which are available for only $40 each at Blizzcon.com.

Aside from virtual tickets, fans should get the loot-filled Goody Bag, which contains some Blizzard themed merchandise items. GameSpot reports the package includes the following items: BlizzCon 2016 beer mug, a Hearthstone-themed cloth, a StarCraft II Baby Overlord antenna topper, a Heroes of the Storm-themed keychain for a guitar pick, a World of Warcraft reversible coaster, an inflatable hammer of Overwatch's Reinhardt and a Diablo III tabletop dice set. The latter is the most intriguing item in the Goody Bag.

The Diablo 3 dice set seems to indicate that Diablo 4 could be in the works. The theory may sound implausible, but it is worth checking out. The dice have numbers which correlate as 114 or 411. As revealed in a video, the 114 stands for November 4. The opening of Blizzcon 2016 is scheduled on Nov. 4, and this could be the day for the announcement of Diablo 4. However, as of now, nothing is confirmed.

Interestingly, Blizzard's recent job posting hints that Diablo 4 is underway. In the game publisher's website, it says the company needs a new director that will lead "lead the Diablo series into the future." Could this be an indication that Blizzard is preparing to announce the next Diablo game this year? Let's wait and see if the company will surprise gamers on November.
